Welcome to Velvet Moustache Store. This will be the place where you'll find hand-made by us Majorie Labrèque Lepage (fashion designer) and Benoit Massé (Graphic Designer)

Payment

For the moment, we only accept PAYPAL, because it is simple and very secure. You can pay with your credit card or with your paypal account if you have one.

Shipping

We are located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, so every item will be sent from here. We did an approximation of the shipping cost and made an average price. It can change at anytime without notification. Our ecological conscience isn't only reflecting in our products. So don't be surprise if you receive your new friend in a shoe box, or don't think we made a mistake and shipped you a hair dryer, your friend will be in there.

All plushes are sent out via Canada Postal Service. I cannot track the package this way and I do not insure them. If you would like them insured please include it in the notes section of the order form and I will bill you separately for the insurance on your particular package.

Refunds and Exchanges

Since these are all unique items, we don't offer refunds. But if for some bad luck your new acquire product is defective simply write us an email at boutique@velvetmoustache.ca and we will work something out.

Additional Policies and FAQs

Are Velvet Moustache handmade plushes safe for little kids and animals?

Yes and No. Their are certain item that have buttons sew to them so it can be dangerous for small children under 3 years old. We try to make plush toys that can suit both generation, but since we don't only target babies, you have to be carefull.

What are Velvet Moustache handmade plushes made of?

We have a strong ecological conscience and this is one of the principal reason we are doing this. Almost all of the Velvet Moustache items are unique and so the fabrics differ. We collect reused fabrics , we buy certified organic cotton and we take the designer's collection left over.

Can I return a handmade plush?

I’m sorry but I’m not going to be able to accept returns on the handmade plushes. There will be slight variations from the item you see online to the one I make for you but that’s the beauty of being handmade. If you are really unhappy or if something is horribly wrong please feel free to email me and we can discuss a solution. I want everyone to be happy with their purchase.

Do you charge tax? We have to collect the GST/HST (7,5% and 5%). But it's not for our own wallet, it is for our lovely government ;)

How long will it take to receive my order?

I usually tell my customers to allow for two weeks to get their delivery. I will email you the day that your order is shipped off and it usually takes 4-5 business days from then. If you are not within Canada then it will take longer because of customs, which I cannot control.

Do you ship outside Canada and how much will it cost?

Yes we do, but we found that the shipping cost for international order is reaaallllly expensive. We are trying to find a solution so that it can be reasonable for the customers and us. If you want a product and live outside of Canada and United States, email us and we will figure something out.
